Many years ago, I began my personal self development journey to figure out who I was and what I wanted to be known for. Over time I did what many people do. You begin to morph into what other people see and want for your life. You begin to fear disappointing people in your life, but in the end you are really just disappointing yourself because you aren’t truly happy.
In my situation, I was a single thirty year old who didn’t like the trajectory of my life. I had achieved great things, yet I still felt hallow inside. I had dreams of being married, having a family and a great career and nothing I did seemed to work to make those dreams a reality.
I just didn’t like who I had become and I realized it was time for a change.
I first had to go on a journey to figure out who I was and what I really wanted in life. I didn’t know what my dream was versus those dreams of my family and friends any more. I needed to figure out why I didn’t feel happy and why I felt incomplete, despite all the blessings I had in my life.
Ultimately, I had to figure out what actions I could and should take to make a change in my life.
You see there are many things in our lives that we can’t control, yet there are many things that we can. I had to pipe into the ones that I could control and stop spending so much time on the ones I couldn’t. I ultimately was able to develop and follow my roadmap to become the person I wanted to be.
This allowed me to meet and exceed the goals and dreams I had for my life. Now, some things shifted from their original goal, but now I was truly living for me and ultimately filling my happiness bucket.
Now, anytime you go through a self development journey you eventually need to do a rebranding of sorts because you have essentially discovered who you truly are. It’s like they say, even though you are the same person, you are different. You evolve and grow and it is important for you to ensure your personal branding is doing the same.
It doesn’t matter if you are a stay at home mom turned entrepreneur or if you are a professional who is looking to focus on new things. You are a brand and that brand deserves to be shared and celebrated. The main question I have for you is Who are you? Is the brand you are sharing really representing the you of today?
If someone walked up and said, who is Dana, what would the answer be? I had to figure out what I wanted people to say. Many people don’t really know the answer to this question, which is why I take you through a self discovery and self development process to ensure you are focused on the right part of yourself. We often focus on what other people’s view of us is and not on who or what we were meant to be.
Now I take what I learned over the years and I teach other people how to find their purpose and rebrand themselves. I am excited and ready to work with you, so stop making excuses and take action today. I’m ready to discover and Brand you!
