Adding Time Back Into Your Day Using Freezer Meal Prepping Techniques

11/02/22 | Dana LaRieal Morales

In this episode, we dig into our freezer cooking meal prep series.  Yes that's a mouthful but you will thank me once you are done with the series.  The main reason I wanted to do this series is to help those of you who want to feed your family real meals but you are also extremely busy.  These are things I cook and prep in my freezer to help make the process of cooking dinner that much easier.  So today we are going to talk about the following:

  • What the freezer cooking/prep method is that I use to make meal prep easier in my household without being in the kitchen all day or weekend.
  • I give you my homemade mac and cheese "recipe"
  • I provide you with the actual freezer prep process post cooking
  • How to use your freezer prepped mac and cheese

Check out my Instagram/Facebook feeds for images and more info regarding the freezer cooking series.

If you liked this episode, I encourage you to subscribe to the podcast to ensure you get all the episodes and consider leaving a review for the podcast.

Warming Up Your Mac and Cheese

When you are ready to pull out your mac and cheese from the freezer you may want to add a little milk to the bowl when warming it up to get it back to the ooey gooey consistency.  We usually warm ours up in the microwave but you can do it in a pot on the stove as well.

This is also a great pre-step if you have a big meal coming up that you want to do some early prepping for to save time.
